All of our camera equipment is insured when you rent through Sharegear for both local and inter-state rentals. Gear is also insured during transit Australia-wide.

What about insurance?

Yes! All of the equipment is insured when you rent through Sharegear.

How long is a rental day? Can I extend a hire?

Sometimes your plans change, and you need to keep gear longer than expected. If this happens, feel free to give us and we'd be more than happy to help!

How do I verify my ID?

Once you create your Sharegear account, you will need to verify yourself in person at our Collingwood office. For interstate rentals, please contact us before you place your booking. To hire equipment with Sharegear, you either need to be an Australian or NZ citizen.

Do you deliver?

Yes! We deliver Australia-wide via TNT express. Contact us for delivery times. We also offer Click and Collect & Contactless Delivery for Melbourne customers.

Is the equipment in good condition?

Almost all of our equipment is bought new and sold after 2 years of rental use and before and after each rental we thoroughly check each item for any damage. We are passionate about our gear and take quality assurance seriously. Every item is checked by production staff before, and after each hire.
